Position Purpose:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Data Analyst to join the Account Management team at Tactiq. This role will serve as a bridge between Account Management and the Data Engineering team, ensuring that data is translated into actionable insights that support our customers' business goals. The Data Analyst will partner with internal stakeholders and external clients to develop dashboards, analyses, and reports that improve operational efficiency, guide decision-making, and deliver measurable impact in the DSD ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect and analyze datasets from multiple sources to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Looker, Amazon Quicksight, and other BI tools to communicate KPIs and insights to stakeholders
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer client and internal business questions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Partner with Account Management to understand client needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
- Act as a liaison with the Data Engineering team to ensure accurate data pipelines and reliable reporting infrastructure
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear, actionable manner for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support value-added reporting and data visualization, anticipating customer needs in order to help them guide strategic decisions
- Provide insights that improve client engagement, operational efficiency, and revenue performance
- Contribute to forecasting and trend analysis efforts with basic statistical and modeling approaches (AI/ML awareness is a plus but not required)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field
- Strong skills in SQL and Excel, with proficiency in Python for analysis preferred
- Hands-on experience with data visualization platforms such as Looker, Amazon Quicksight, Tableau, or Power BI
- Familiarity with Snowflake and cloud-based data environments (Google Cloud or AWS)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into business-friendly insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to partner with diverse teams and clients
- Prior exposure to supply chain, retail, or logistics data is a plus
