Accountabilities:
- Monitor network traffic and systems to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and security audits
- Respond to security incidents and participate in incident response drills
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement preventive and corrective measures
- Develop and maintain comprehensive threat intelligence reports and security documentation
- Contribute to the creation and improvement of security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with emerging threats and technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on vulnerability management, threat intelligence, or SOC operations
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and secure architectures
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, MDM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, CISA, GCFA, GCTI, GCFE, GCFR, GNFA) are a plus
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and understanding of current cyber threats is preferred
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
