At Amazon, we are seeking an experienced Medical Quality Manager to lead clinical operations and ensure medical accuracy for our symptom assessment platform. You will manage a team of junior doctors, ensuring high-quality training data and maintaining clinical standards as we scale our product offerings to customers. This position will require a MBBS degree (i.e. a qualified medical doctor).
Key job responsibilities
- Lead quality control processes for medical annotation teams to maintain >90% accuracy rates
- Manage and develop a team of junior doctors in medical data annotation at scale
- Establish clinical validation protocols and review complex medical cases
- Conduct systematic review of AI model outputs against medical guidelines
- Design efficient annotation workflows that are HIPPA compliant
- Implement quality metrics and performance tracking systems
- Coordinate with product and engineering teams on medical workflow optimization
- Lead medical review processes for complex diagnostic scenarios
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
