Project Manager – Data Engineering & Analytics

About the Company: We are looking for a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver projects in data engineering and analytics. You will manage cross-functional teams to execute data platform, pipeline, and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and analytics workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to define project requirements and success metrics.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Track project progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, and report status to stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and resolve project blockers and dependencies.
• Ensure all technical documentation is current and aligned with project goals.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage third-party vendors or external contractors when applicable.
• Advocate for continuous improvement in processes, tools, and team efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall).
• Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
