What We're Looking For:
You are a detail-oriented and multi-skilled Product Designer, bringing a solid understanding of user experience, visual design and prototyping.
You'll be responsible for creating engaging user experiences that meet the product requirements whilst championing the voice of our service users. You'll bring these experiences to life by creating visually appealing, user-friendly and accessible interfaces. Underpinning all of this will be a foundation of user research, evidence you'll have gained by working with our User Research team or by conducting user research yourself.
You will have a general understanding or interest in who our users are, their needs, and how to deliver experiences that are appropriate for the mental wellbeing space. You are curious about the real world contexts in which our service is used, and will strive to improve the lives of our users alongside the rest of the business.
Key attributes:
- Strong level of visual design expertise with experience using Figma or a similar tool
- Experience using prototyping tools to help understand the problem, test concepts and communicate experiences
- Ability to synthesise and present findings and articulate design rationale
- Able to build strong relationships with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver experiences effectively and iteratively
- Familiarity with design systems, how to contribute and manage these alongside engineering
- Some understanding of different user research tools and methodologies, and how to interpret these to identify the needs of users
- Some understanding of digital accessibility and willingness to develop this knowledge
