Clarity is a French-American neurotech startup on a mission to treat, prevent, and manage brain disorders.
We are developing a home-based, immersive neuromodulation device that combines virtual reality and biosensors to slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. Our goal is to make therapy as engaging and accessible as watching Netflix — while meeting the highest standards of medical safety and clinical efficacy.

🧠As a VR Unity Developer Intern, you will collaborate with our R&D and product teams to design and build immersive VR experiences that embed therapeutic auditory and visual stimuli. Your work will directly contribute to our regulated medical device and upcoming clinical studies in Alzheimer’s patients.
- Design and program end-to-end VR experiences in Unity, building cognitive tasks and fully 3D environments.
- Integrate, implement, and deliver therapeutic stimulation protocols directly to users within VR environments.
- Innovate on VR interactions and data streams to enhance engagement and insights.
- Optimize the performance and reliability of VR and desktop applications, ensuring seamless, high-fidelity experiences.
- Participate in user testing and data collection, helping assess the effects of protocols on brain activity.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong Unity/C# programming skills.
- Experience delivering interactive and high-performing 3D projects in Unity or Unreal.
- Understanding of software engineering principles with a focus on modularity, scalability, and maintainability.
- Proven experience building VR/AR projects is a significant advantage.
Educational Requirements:
- You are pursuing or hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Game programming, Game design, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Equivalent hands-on experience is also welcome.
Soft skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Proactive and capable of exploring solutions independently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- You have a hacker mindset and you enjoy taking on technical challenges.
- Location: On-site in our Paris office, no remote work possible.
- Language: Fluent spoken and written English required.
- Duration: 3–6 months (to be defined based on project needs and your availability).
- Compensation: Paid internship (amount depending on profile and experience).
