About The Role
About this opportunity
Senior professional Project Manager, responsible for managing customer relationships and coordinating the delivery of a Water Cooling Infrastructure construction.
This role is site-based and requires staying in Sines during the workweek. No rotation or fly-in/fly-out arrangement applies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives
- Positively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationships
- Delivering high-quality services and deliverables, ensuring that services meet our Customer’s requirements.
- Administering contracts as a contract administrator, employer’s agent or project manager.
- Producing and presenting to customers
- Preparing bids for services.
- Managing service delivery for profit.
- Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular, those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance.

About The Candidate
Who we’re looking for:
Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
- Project management experience on large-scale water-related infrastructure projects (desalination plants, water treatment plants, hydroelectric projects)
- Knowledge of Portuguese technical requirements applied to the construction sector is desirable.
- Detailed knowledge and practical experience of project management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
- Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- Eligible to work in Portugal
- Availability to work in Sines 5 days per week.
Qualifications
- University degree - Civil Engineering or similar
