Media Data Analysis

The ideal candidate will track, analyze, and summarize coverage from news outlets, social media, and online platforms. Generate daily or periodic reports with sentiment analysis, topic categorization, and issue tracking. Provide insights on media trends, sentiment, influencer impact, and audience insights using data analysis tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Ability to learn and master media monitoring tools, analytics dashboards, and reporting platforms
• Monitor and track media coverage across news outlets, social platforms, and online channels
• Conduct sentiment analysis, topic categorization, and issue tracking to identify key narratives
• Analyze audience sentiment, influencer activity, and media impact using analytics platforms
• Generate daily, weekly, and ad-hoc media reports
• Provide insights on emerging trends, risks, and opportunities within the media landscape
• Collaborate with research and communication teams to ensure data-driven reporting
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in all analytical outputs
• Stay informed on UAE, regional, and global news, as well as social media trends, to contextualize reporting and insights
• Stay updated on media monitoring tools, data analysis techniques, and reporting best practices
• Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and clients in a clear, concise format

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Journalism, Media Studies, Communication, or Political Science
• 3 years in media monitoring, journalism, or public relations
• Fluent in Arabic and English
