We’re seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Analyst to join a client's growing analytics team. In this role, you’ll work with large datasets from multiple sources to uncover insights, support business decision-making, and contribute to data-driven strategies. Your ability to clean, mine, and analyze complex data — and communicate results clearly — will be essential to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret large datasets to support strategic and operational business decisions.
• Perform data mining and data cleansing to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Write and optimize complex queries using SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases including Oracle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify analytical needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Work with Big Data platforms and tools to process high-volume, high-velocity data.
• Use Excel for advanced analysis, modeling, and reporting.
• Present data findings in a clear, compelling, and visual way to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Proficient in SQL (including complex joins, subqueries, and optimization).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases and data extraction.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI (or other BI tools like Tableau, Qlik).
• Experience with Big Data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive) is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of data mining, cleansing, and transformation techniques.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and advanced formulas.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python, R, or other data analysis tools/languages.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools.
• Background in [industry, e.g., finance, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.].
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
