Technical Responsibilities
- Design and maintain internal developer tools (CLIs, SDKs, scaffolding generators).
- Implement IaC using Terraform for scalable and repeatable infrastructure.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
- Configure and tune ELK stack (ingest, index management, ILM, dashboards, alerting).
- Implement observability with OpenTelemetry (traces, metrics, logs, collector pipelines).
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, containers (Docker), and artifact registries (Nexus, Artifactory, Harbor).
- Follow Git best practices (trunk-based/GitFlow), peer reviews, and documentation.
- Apply SRE principles—SLOs, error budgets, chaos testing, and incident management.
- Define and test API contracts using OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, and Pact.
- Work on data shaping, sampling, replay, and routing for multi-environment/tenant setups.
- Build automation and tooling using Go, Python, or TypeScript with Bash.
