We are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled electrical engineer to join our power grids technology business at Hitachi Energy. You will be joining a well-structured team operating in Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) consisting of engineering, service and project management teams, with a total 20 to 25 people.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electrical engineer who will be responsible for electrical engineering, commissioning and maintenance of installations, control and protection systems up to 330kV. Close cooperation with clients and subcontractors is essential.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Engineering, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems in accordance with company and client requirements
- Solving technical problems and offering new solutions for customers
- Ensuring safety and quality of electrical works on site
- Coordination and communication with client responsible persons, subcontractors, Estonian grid control centers (e.g., Elering, Elektrilevi) and other relevant stakeholders
- Electrical engineer, corresponding to occupational standards of Estonian/European Qualifications Framework (EstQF/EQF), Level 6
- Previous experience in electrical engineering, especially in control and protection system
- Awareness of special requirements in high voltage installations is an advantage
- Managing electrical works and/or commissioning electrical systems is an advantage
- Practical skills of graphical CAD systems and intelligence designing systems Eplan, E3
- Experienced professional or fresh out of university
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Estonian
- Ready to work in an international and multicultural work environment
