Senior Analytics Engineer (DBT & Power BI)

Location: Netherlands (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite in North )

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our central Analytics & Reporting team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving technical challenges, and is passionate about enabling data-driven decision-making across business units.

Responsibilities

• Design and Maintain Data Products: Build, test, and maintain a stable analytical data platform using DBT and Power BI. Focus on standardizing and automating data services to ensure scalability and robustness.
• Platform Oversight: Monitor usage and costs, ensure compliance with security and design standards, and collaborate with architecture teams to maintain a well-governed environment.
• Technical Support and Advisory: Provide guidance to business teams on optimal use of analytics tools and data products. Participate in business projects where analytics expertise is needed.
• Community Leadership: Lead the analytics guild by defining and promoting best practices. Share knowledge across teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement in analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data transformation, modeling, and visualization.
• Strong proficiency in DBT, Power BI, SQL, and Databricks.
• Experience managing BI environments in Azure Cloud, including versioning, testing, and continuous deployment.
• Fluent in English both written and verbal.
• Based in the Netherlands, with flexibility to work from home and expectation to be onsite twice a week.
