Job Title: Junior Analyst (Intern)

Job Description

Real Estate Company is hiring an Intern Junior Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate has a high level of English, excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and advanced Excel skills.

Financial modelling and previous real estate experience are highly regarded but not essential.

Objectives and Responsibilities

Support the team with periodic reporting to financial institutions and upper management.

Work on PowerPoint presentations when needed.

Collaborate in the analysis of potential projects to enhance returns on the existing portfolio.

Conduct market research to evaluate current portfolio performance and potential investments.

Explore market trends and understand the current situation.

Help conduct Due Diligence processes with external suppliers.

Review and discuss valuations, Due Diligence reports, investment memorandum.

Attend meetings with external parties: sellers, financial entities, investment funds, brokers, etc.

Attend asset visits for investment opportunities.

Get familiar with all related documentation: investment documents (e.g., SPA), financial accounts, mortgages, lease contracts, etc.

Will be focused on the Spanish market.

Assist on the underwriting for new investment opportunities.

Aid in the communication and relationship with corporate partners.

Qualifications

Excel skills are valued.

Experience with financial modelling such as real-estate comparable and/or DCF valuation, debt structures, equity model, and others to analyse outputs (IRR, Equity Multiple, cash-on-cash ratios...).

Interest in real estate or related sectors: residential development, hospitality, commercial real estate, real estate valuations, private equity, or other.

Either Business or Architecture background, with good communication skills.

Attention to detail, organization skills, independent and proactive, team player.

Ability to work full time in Madrid for 3-6 months.
