At Mavis Games, we create bold and unforgettable experiences for players around the world.
We are looking for a creative, versatile, and experienced 2D Game Artist to join our Art team. You’ll play a key role in defining the visual identity of our next hit game from concept to final.
What You’ll Do:
- Create polished, expressive 2D assets (characters, environments, UI elements, icons, animations).
- Develop and refine visual concepts that support intuitive gameplay and strong emotional engagement.
- Collaborate with game designers, developers, and product leads to craft cohesive, dynamic player experiences.
- Contribute to art direction, style guides, and creative vision for both live games and prototypes.
- Iterate rapidly based on feedback and continuously push the quality bar higher.
- Stay curious and inspired — bringing trends, references, and new techniques into the mix.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have 3+ years of experience as a game artist — especially in mobile F2P or casual games.
- Have a killer portfolio that shows off your 2D skills, artistic range, and visual storytelling abilities.
- Are fluent in tools like Photoshop (Spine, Illustrator, Figma or Unity skills are a plus).
- Understand form, composition, and color theory like second nature.
- Care deeply about quality, polish, and how your art makes players feel.
- Are comfortable iterating quickly and working in a collaborative, high-ownership environment.
- Have a passion for games — and ideally play and love the kind we’re building.
Bonus Points If You:
- Worked on a released mobile title.
- Proficiency in UI/UX design for mobile games (menus, buttons, icons, layouts).
- Participated in Game Jams or personal projects that show creativity and initiative.
- Understand the visual DNA of games like Candy Crush, Toon Blast, Royal Match, or other top casual hits.
- Have experience designing art that works seamlessly across multiple devices and platforms.
Why Mavis?
We’re a small team with big ideas — and now, big momentum. You’ll get:
- Competitive USD-based salary
- Private health insurance (including family coverage)
- Work on high-impact games with a global audience
- Collaborate directly with founders and key creatives
- Game nights, team events, and creative jam sessions
- Game consoles, musical instruments, and collaborative vibes in the office
