Job Description
The IT Executive is responsible for maintaining the hotel’s information technology systems, ensuring smooth operation of all computer networks, software applications, and communication systems. This role supports all hotel departments by providing technical assistance, maintaining data security, and ensuring maximum uptime for critical hotel systems.
- Systems & Network Management
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and support all IT systems including PMS (Property Management System), POS (Point of Sale), accounting software, and other hotel applications.
- Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi connectivity, and server infrastructure.
- Ensure data backups, disaster recovery, and security protocols are in place.
- User Support
- Provide daily technical support to all hotel staff (hardware, software, email, printing, etc.).
- Set up and configure new workstations, user accounts, and access permissions.
- Train staff on proper use of hotel systems and IT policies.
- System Maintenance & Upgrades
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and network maintenance.
- Plan and implement regular updates and preventive maintenance for all systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all IT assets, licenses, and warranties.
- Data Security & Compliance
- Ensure hotel systems comply with data protection and PCI-DSS standards.
- Monitor system security and prevent unauthorized access or data breaches.
- Regularly audit systems for compliance and efficiency.
- Communication Systems
- Maintain and support hotel telecommunication systems (IP phones, PBX, VoIP).
- Ensure proper functioning of guest internet services and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of IT support experience (hospitality industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of hotel systems (PMS, POS, Back Office, CCTV, PBX).
- Familiarity with Windows Server, MS Office, networking (LAN/WAN), and Wi-Fi management.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and provide 24/7 support when required.
