About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Hydrology and Hydraulic Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hydrological analysis, hydraulic design, and water infrastructure development for major road and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive hydrological and hydraulic studies.
- Design stormwater drainage systems, flood protection measures, and wadi diversions.
- Utilize advanced modeling tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Civil 3D, and InfraWorks.
- Evaluate rainfall patterns, catchment areas, and flood risk scenarios.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and prepare detailed technical reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- 12–15 years of experience in hydrology and hydraulic design.
- Strong command of HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Civil 3D, and related design software.
- Familiarity with Oman Highway Design Standards (OHDS) or equivalent international guidelines.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
