We are #Hiring for a leading Oil & Gas Construction Company in Oman!
Designation: Instrument Engineer - Construction
Vacancies: 02 Nos
Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in Instrumentation & Control systems for Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Industrial construction projects.
• Hands-on experience in installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of field instruments, control panels, transmitters, analyzers, and other instrumentation equipment.
• Skilled in material take-off, reviewing instrumentation drawings (P&IDs, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, etc.), identifying discrepancies, and providing practical engineering solutions.
• Strong ability in site coordination, client interaction, and ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
• Proven experience in quality monitoring, ensuring compliance with HSE policies, and maintaining safe working environments at project sites.
• Good knowledge of relevant international standards such as ISA, IEC, ASTM, and API related to instrumentation design and installation.
• Prior Oil & Gas project experience in Oman will be an added advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Plan, supervise, and execute instrumentation and control system installation works in line with project specifications and timelines.
• Review and verify instrumentation drawings and documents, identify discrepancies, and provide effective technical recommendations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor and inspect instrumentation works to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.
• Liaise with client representatives, vendors, and subcontractors for inspections, approvals, and clarifications.
• Prepare and verify material take-offs, inspection reports, and work progress documentation.
• Ensure proper calibration and testing of field instruments before commissioning.
• Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and assist in preparing final documentation and handover dossiers.
