We're seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our Supply Chain Management team. Successful candidates will join the Buenos Aires Shared Services Center located in Puerto Madero, Argentina, which has a workforce of more than 1000 employees that delivers business services and solutions across the globe since 2006.
As a Business Analyst, you will leverage your analytical skills to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize our supply chain operations, primarily for business units in the US and LATAM.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Data Analytics: Conduct in-depth analysis and extract insights from large datasets regarding the acquisition of goods and services from suppliers (Contracting, Buying, Logistics, Material Management).
- Reporting and Presentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Vendor Management: Analyze vendor performance metrics, support sourcing processes and contract negotiation, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Advanced English proficiency with strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and DAX for data analysis and visualization.
- Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading using T-SQL and Power Query/M.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Proactive approach to optimizing supply chain management processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI Service, Power Apps, Automate, Dataflows).
- Experience with Python for ETL, data analysis, visualization, and automation.
- Background in Data Analytics within Supply Chain Management (ERP Systems, GEP SMART).
- Advanced digital skills, including automation using VBA macros and Office Scripts in Microsoft Excel.
- Materials Management experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in the Oil and Gas industry is desirable.
Relocation will not be considered.
