We’re looking for an experienced Consulting Engineer (ACI – Cisco) to join the team of a major client in the telecommunications industry.
As a Consulting Engineer, you’ll design, implement, and support Cisco-based data center networks with a focus on ACI infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:Design, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI environments, including APIC, contracts, policies, and multi-site architectures.
Manage and maintain Cisco Nexus platforms (2k/5k/7k/9k) and related technologies (NX-OS, vPC, VXLAN, EVPN).
Implement and support routing and switching solutions (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and ensure high availability.
Perform system upgrades, provisioning, and operational support for ACI fabrics.
Automate network operations using Python, Cisco NSO, Postman, and Insomnia.
Work with data formats such as XML and JSON for configuration and integration tasks.
Participate in scheduled maintenance windows as part of planned deployments or updates.
5+ years of experience as a Network or Consulting Engineer in telecommunications or technology environments.
Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco ACI (APIC, fabric setup, Bridge Domains, L3Out).
Deep knowledge of Cisco Nexus platforms and NX-OS operations.
Proven experience with routing and switching technologies (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
Familiarity with automation and scripting tools (Python, Cisco NSO, Postman, Insomnia).
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Ability to work during U.S. business hours and flexible for maintenance schedules. Availability: Must be willing to work maintenance windows — up to 2 overnight shifts per week and/or 2 weekends per month.
