🔍 What does an SRE do
As an SRE, you’re the guardian of reliability. You make sure systems run smoothly, recover quickly when things go wrong, and continuously improve how services are built and operated. You’ll work closely with developers, support teams, and stakeholders to:
- Prevent incidents before they happen
- Respond quickly when they do
- Improve performance and service quality over time
Think of it as part engineer, part detective, part diplomat.
đź§© Your Responsibilities
- Support the migration to modern cloud-based tools and platforms
- Monitor service performance and ensure alignment with Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
- Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and health checks
- Manage incidents and changes using tools like ServiceNow
- Analyze risks and propose smart, scalable improvements
- Collaborate with other SREs and incident managers across teams
- Contribute to a growing internal SRE community
âś… Your Profile
- You have a technical background (e.g. software engineering, IT architecture)
- You’ve worked with incident/change/service management in complex environments
- You’re analytical, proactive, and a strong communicator
- You enjoy working in a data-driven, monitoring-heavy context
- You speak fluent Dutch or French, and have solid English skills
- You’re familiar with tools like Dynatrace, Opnet, BAM, CMDB, and ServiceNow or eager to learn
