Our client, a global organization with advanced digital operations, is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Belgium on a contract basis. In this role, you will support cloud and infrastructure automation, improve release pipelines, and ensure operational excellence across applications and services.
Responsibilities
You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, driving automation and operational excellence across cloud and application platforms. The role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both new and legacy services, automating infrastructure and application deployments.
- Implement full-stack monitoring to track cloud platforms, operating systems, applications, and telemetry.
- Manage and remediate technical debt across cloud environments using automation and pipelines.
- Continuously improve time-to-market for products and releases by proposing and implementing innovative automation solutions.
- Provide input on architecture and engineering standards.
- Create automation to ensure consistency in deployment, maintenance, and operation of products and services.
- Troubleshoot and identify root causes for complex cross-product issues, defining action items to improve reliability.
- Minimum 5 years in AppOps or DevOps roles on cloud platforms.
- Expertise with SCM/CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps.
- Experience writing IaC templates using Terraform or Bicep.
- Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and architecture, including creating build and release pipelines for software and cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across network, application, hardware, and service layers.
- Experience in quality improvement, performance optimization, and observability solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor).
- Familiarity with Agile environments and SDLC methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- Azure AZ-400 certification is a plus.
