Brand Designer

What you will do
As a Brand Designer in Klarna’s Brand Foundations Team, you will bring Klarna’s visual identity to life across all touchpoints. You will develop cohesive and impactful design systems that communicate Klarna’s essence, ensuring a unified look and feel across marketing, product, and communications. You will collaborate closely with creative, product, and marketing teams to build visual experiences that resonate globally. Your work will focus on maintaining Klarna’s brand integrity while evolving and expanding its creative expression through research, experimentation, and innovation.

Who you are

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Brand Designer or in a similar design position

• A strong portfolio showcasing brand identity work across multiple mediums

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma or similar tools

• Solid understanding of visual systems, typography, color, and composition principles

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly

• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• A proactive mindset, curious to explore and refine brand expressions

Awesome to have

• Experience with motion graphics and animation

• Art direction or campaign development experience

• Familiarity with global brand systems and digital product environments

• Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional creative environments
