Technical Product Owner - Remote

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner with strong experience in AI-driven technologies and cybersecurity to drive the development of innovative, secure, and scalable products. This role operates at the intersection of AI development and enterprise security, ensuring that AI capabilities are designed, implemented, and governed in alignment with organisational security standards and product goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-based cybersecurity tools and services.
• Prioritise product backlog items aligned with business goals, security requirements, and user needs.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear, technically detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Act as the bridge between AI development teams, cybersecurity operations, and business leadership.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing threat detection, risk analytics, and incident response workflows.
• Work with engineering teams to design secure APIs, model serving architectures, and ML Ops pipelines.
• Ensure alignment between product features and enterprise cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, Zero Trust).

Stakeholder Engagement

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, validate use cases, and communicate product progress.
• Provide clear and structured updates on technical progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Foster a collaborative culture between AI and security teams to accelerate product delivery without compromising security posture.

Technical Background

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager, ideally in AI or cybersecurity products.
• Working knowledge of modern cybersecurity practices, frameworks, and technologies.
• Experience with secure software development lifecycles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to translate technical issues into business impact.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non- technical teams.
• Passion for AI innovation with a strong sense of security-by-design and ethical responsibility.
