We are seeking an experienced CloudOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipeline management. The role will focus on optimizing and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure systems to support product and engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across a broad DevOps tech stack, AWS multi-account architectures, and security tools, with a proactive approach to innovation and problem-solving.
Responsibilities & Authorities:
Cloud Infrastructure & System Administration
- Install, configure, and administer Linux servers (Ubuntu & Amazon Linux).
- Manage and maintain web and proxy servers such as Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, and HAProxy.
- Administer AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, ECS, SNS, SES, CloudWatch, CDN, WAF, CloudFront, CloudTrail, Route53, VPC, API Gateway, Lambda, IAM, Elastic Cache, Memcached, DynamoDB, CodeDeploy, and CodeBuild.
- Implement and manage AWS Multi-Account Architecture (Control Tower, Landing Zone, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, etc.).
- Deploy and manage AWS Security tools (WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector).
Architecture & Optimization
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for designing fault-tolerant, high-availability cloud and networking architectures.
- Execute workload migrations from on-premises to cloud environments.
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles for cost optimization, reliability, and performance efficiency.
Automation & Orchestration
- Manage Kubernetes clusters for provisioning, networking, security, and upgrades.
- Work on containerization of MEAN stack applications.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Manage configuration with Ansible and automate tasks via Python scripting.
- Leverage Helm Charts or Argo CD for Kubernetes deployments.
CI/CD & DevSecOps
- Design, implement, and maintain code repositories (GitHub, GitLab).
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS Code Services, and similar tools.
- Apply DevSecOps best practices — integrating SCA, SAST, DAST, and secret scanning into CI/CD.
- Enable test automation for TDD, including code coverage and performance testing.
- Manage and optimize mobile application build processes (iOS/Android).
Database & Application Support
- Administer SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Cassandra).
- Manage caching and search technologies (Redis, Memcached, Elasticsearch).
- Secure application secrets using HashiCorp Vault and AWS Secret Manager.
Monitoring & Governance
- Implement monitoring and observability using Elastic Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, Graphite, and APM tools (New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace).
- Ensure compliance with incident, change, and release management policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally using Jira, Confluence, and similar tools.
Soft Skills & Communication
- Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide clear documentation and technical guidance across teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, DevOps, or Cloud Architecture are highly desirable.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in a DevOps role with extensive hands-on exposure to the technologies listed above.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, automation frameworks, and security-first DevOps practices.
