Job Purpose

  • Drive technical solution development that aligns with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Lead the design and presentation of tailored technical proposals, providing expert guidance throughout the pre-sales cycle to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and value delivery.
  • Support seamless project handover and implementation, strengthening client trust, advancing innovation, and contributing to sustainable business growth.


Roles, Responsibilities, Duties


Solution Architecture & Technical Design:

  • Conduct detailed requirement analysis to design scalable, future-ready solutions aligned with client needs and business objectives.
  • Prepare technical layouts, BOQs, schematics, and integration plans, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project scope.
  • Lead proof-of-concepts, pilot testing, and technical validation to confirm solution performance and feasibility.


Pre-Sales Engineering & Client Advisory:

  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and technical discovery sessions to shape solution direction.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and workshops that clearly communicate value and ROI.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, simplifying complex technical concepts and providing professional guidance to decision-makers.


Proposal & Tender Development:

  • Lead technical inputs for RFP/RFQ responses, compliance matrices, and method statements.
  • Collaborate with commercial, procurement, and delivery teams to ensure accurate costing, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Review tender specs, identify risks, and recommend value-engineered alternatives to enhance competitiveness.


Project Handover & Execution Support:

  • Ensure structured technical handover to delivery teams with full documentation and implementation clarity.
  • Support site mobilization and provide technical guidance during early execution to maintain solution integrity.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges, aligning solutions with client expectations and quality standards.


Innovation & Technical Excellence:

  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to strengthen solution portfolio and competitiveness.
  • Recommend enhancements in solution frameworks, templates, and technical standards.
  • Mentor internal teams and support knowledge-sharing, promoting continuous technical excellence.


Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:

  • In addition to all job specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Khidmah health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Khidmah HSE department regularly updates existing and introduce new policies, procedures and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions.


Information Security responsibilities:

  • Comply with Khidmah Information Security Policies
  • Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilities
  • Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training
  • Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).
  • Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus
  • Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.
  • Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality


Education & Qualification


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Relevant certifications preferred (Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, ITIL, PMP)
  • Strong grounding in solution design, system integration, and technical documentation


Experience and Skills


Industry Experience (No. of years):

  • 3–5 years in engineering or technology solutions

Position/functional experience (No. of years):

  • 2–3 years in solution design or pre-sales engineering


Competencies and Skills:

  • Strong technical analysis and solution-design capability
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, client-focused solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High proficiency in technical documentation, proposals, and system specifications
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines
