About Earth Science Analytics (ESA) and IMDEX

ESA is an IMDEX company with proven technology and solutions that enable and accelerate the ongoing digitalisation of the energy industry. The opportunity

We’re looking for a curious and collaborative Geo-Data Scientist to join our Earth Science Analytics (ESA) team. You will provide hands-on technical advice to users, resolve complex issues, and give geoscientific support to users of our EarthNET platform, helping them integrate data-driven workflows into their subsurface interpretation and analysis.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and clients to deliver, configure, and optimise EarthNET solutions, while contributing to product improvement through user feedback and insights. This role is based in Stavanger and includes travel to client sites to provide in-person support and ensure successful project delivery.

Key accountabilities include-

· Collaborate with product and development teams to communicate field feedback and feature requests.

· Contribute to documentation and knowledge resources to empower users.

· Participate in proof-of-concept projects and ad hoc data analysis.

· Travel to client sites to provide hands-on support and build strong relationships.

· Knowledge of machine learning-assisted subsurface interpretation.

· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

· Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally.

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Desirable:

· Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
