Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services primarily using Python (Django) and MySQL
- Design, implement, and optimize data processing and migration workflows
- Build and maintain reusable libraries, components, and internal tools to improve developer productivity
- Collaborate closely with other developers, project managers, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning to uphold code quality and scalability
- [Senior] Take on management responsibilities, including mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical direction
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
- Proficiency in backend technologies, including but not limited to Django, MySQL, and AWS services
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent and precise communication skills
- [Senior] 3-5 years of professional experience in backend development
- [Senior] Proven ability to design and architect resilient, scalable software systems, databases, and APIs
- [Senior] Experience in code reviews, software/database architecture review, and mentoring developers, with a focus on best practices
- [Senior] Hands-on full stack experience highly preferred
- [Senior] Familiarity with Agile & Scrum methodologies
- Motivated self-starter who is quick to adapt and work with minimal supervision
- Active and keen learner who keeps up-to-date with industry trends
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to develop robust products and make difficult trade-offs in a high-paced production environment
