Frontend Specialist - Spain

We are seeking a talented and motivated Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, with a keen eye for creating visually appealing components. You will work closely with our design and backend teams to build high-quality user interfaces that enhance user experience and engagement.

You will get the chance to:

  • Develop and maintain responsive and high-performance web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
  • Design and implement visually appealing and reusable UI components that align with our design system.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Integrate with backend APIs using Apollo Client and GraphQL to fetch and manage data efficiently.
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our frontend development processes


What will help you succeed at Globant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in frontend development with a strong focus on JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
  • Experience with API integration, particularly using Apollo Client and GraphQL.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).
  • Experience with performance optimization techniques for web applications.
