SG Business Product Manager - Marketplace Product

We are looking for self-driven individuals to join our Singapore Product team and help shape the e-commerce experience for millions of users. The intense competition and unique dynamics of the Singapore market make this role both challenging and rewarding.

As a Business Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving high-impact product features initiated by either local or regional teams. You will work closely with Singapore business units and regional stakeholders to identify opportunities that’ll enhance the user buying experience, and deliver features that directly impact key organisational objectives.

Job Description

• Lead the co-creation and rollout of product features on the Shopee app for Singapore, including stakeholder alignment, requirement documentation, UAT execution, and ABT data analysis
• Collaborate with Singapore Marketing and regional stakeholders to gather business needs, identify opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives aligned with organisational objectives
• Develop and prioritise outcome-driven product roadmaps based on business value, technical feasibility, resource planning, and implementation timelines
• Prepare clear and comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs/FRFs) that balance business alignment with simplified product solutions for engineering teams
• Conduct UAT, plan and manage live releases, and ensure risk mitigation with transparent reportingDrive solution implementation and adoption through training, rollout planning, feedback gathering, and ongoing support
• Analyse product data to track KPIs, measure impact, and propose iterative improvements
• Explore opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to enhance product offerings
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business (Operations Management), Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Industrial System Engineering or other Engineering degrees is preferred but not required
• Minimally 1 year of working experience in product/project management
• Cross-disciplinary understanding of business functions and/or information systems (such as information exchange, data structure) is a plus
• Strong data analytical skills with proficiency in tools like SQL; Python is a plus
• Able to communicate complex ideas concisely and effectively (both verbally and in writing), to stakeholders at all levels
• Logical thinker and problem-solver. Must be an independent self-starter and a quick learner, with the diligence to follow-through on complex projects
• Able to work in a dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple and competing priorities simultaneously
