This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer I in the United States.

This role offers the chance to join a dynamic and agile engineering team responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling customer-facing platforms and services. As a DevOps Engineer I, you will collaborate closely with software engineers and engineering leadership to implement best practices in infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. You will ensure operational excellence, system reliability, and performance while supporting continuous integration and deployment processes. The position emphasizes hands-on problem-solving, monitoring, and proactive improvements, offering exposure to cloud environments, containerization, and Infrastructure-as-Code. You will contribute to architectural discussions, automate workflows, and help drive long-term maintainability and scalability of services. Accountabilities:

  • Participate actively in Agile delivery teams to ensure consistent, reliable, and high-quality software releases
  • Collaborate with developers and cross-functional partners to design, build, and deploy scalable software solutions
  • Champion automation-first, code-centric practices for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes
  • Support production operations including incident response, troubleshooting, and on-call rotations to maintain uptime and reliability
  • Design infrastructure and deployment solutions with scalability, resilience, and long-term maintainability in mind
  • Develop, implement, and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure optimal application performance
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Engage in architectural reviews and provide input to enhance system performance, reliability, and security


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience/certifications)
  • Minimum 2 years as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with 2+ years in an SRE or equivalent engineering role
  • At least 3 years of experience managing and supporting production cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as CircleCI, Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitHub Actions
  • Strong automation mindset focused on scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborative approach, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with monitoring platforms such as DataDog, including APM, RUM, Synthetic Monitoring, Infrastructure Monitoring, and Dashboard development


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile development environments and DevOps best practices
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience supporting remote-first, distributed engineering teams
