Assistant Manager – Human Resources (HRBP)

JOB PURPOSE

The Assistant Manager – HR Operations (HRBP) plays a key role in supporting HR functions across airport operations. This role focuses on executing HR processes, supporting employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures in a fast-paced operational environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Support & Execution

  • Assist in implementing HR initiatives aligned with operational goals.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to operational teams and frontline managers.

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand workforce needs and align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and drive adoption of new processes or policies.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, labor laws, and best practices to managers.

Employee Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to building a positive workplace culture.
  • Support grievance handling and disciplinary processes in line with company policies.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of attendance, leave, and payroll inputs.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and airport regulations.

Performance Management

  • Facilitate performance appraisal processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
  • Partner with managers to identify performance gaps and recommend interventions.

HR Data & Reporting

  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards for internal reviews.
  • Maintain HRIS data accuracy and support audits.


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum: 4–6 years of overall HR experience
  • Relevant HRBP exposure: At least 2–3 years in a business partnering or generalist role Working knowledge of HR systems and labor law basics.

  • Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS tools.
