Job Description
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer (Volunteer) to join our Product team and help us craft intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing digital experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX writers, and developers to translate user needs into interactive and accessible designs.
This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain real-world experience in product design, enhance your portfolio, and potentially transition into a paid position after the 16-week volunteer period.Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define and implement innovative design solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to improve user satisfaction.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile platforms.
- Ensure consistency in visual elements and user experience across all touchpoints.
- Iterate designs based on feedback and performance data.
- Stay up to date with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in UI/UX design (1+ years preferred).
- Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or other design tools.
- Strong understanding of design systems, user-centered design principles, and responsive design.
- Portfolio showcasing your design process and final outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
