RecruitBlock is hiring on behalf of a specialist digital asset accounting and advisory firm, founded by professionals from leading global firms and now redefining the financial frameworks behind blockchain and digital assets.
Headquartered in Fitzrovia, London, this high-growth firm partners with crypto exchanges, DeFi platforms, Web3 projects and digital asset funds, combining audit rigour with advanced analytics, automation, and blockchain tools.
If you’re an ACA-qualified accountant trained within a Big 4 environment and ready to apply your expertise to an emerging asset class, this opportunity offers both challenge and acceleration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit, accounting, and assurance engagements for clients in the Web3 and digital asset ecosystem.
- Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP for complex, high-growth entities.
- Deliver token accounting, proof-of-reserve, and valuation advisory projects.
- Work closely with Partners from Big 4 and investment banking backgrounds on strategic accounting challenges.
- Advise clients on treasury, governance, and financial reporting for digital assets.
- Contribute to developing digital asset accounting standards and methodologies.
- Use data-driven, tech-enabled tools to enhance audit efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- ACA qualified (ICAEW) with a strong technical foundation in audit or financial reporting.
- Big 4 training background - experience at PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG strongly preferred.
- Post-qualification experience in audit, assurance, or financial reporting.
- Strong grasp of IFRS, UK GAAP, and complex consolidations or financial instruments.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commercial acumen.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Interest in or curiosity about crypto, blockchain, and digital assets - prior exposure advantageous but not required.

- Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum (DOE)
