About the Role

This is a contract-based hybrid role for a Web Programmer based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Web Programmer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web applications, implementing both front-end and back-end features, and ensuring database integrations. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure web solutions that align with project goals and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive and interactive web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or similar).
• Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX components.
• Integrate backend APIs (REST / GraphQL) into the frontend.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs or database basics (SQL / NoSQL).
• Familiarity with one or more frameworks: React, Next.js, Vue, Go, or Angular.
• Basic knowledge of backend development (Node.js, Express, or Python/Flask).
• Experience with Git and version control.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Programming, and Databases.
• Experience in Front-End Development and Web Development.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid/remote work environment.
• Familiarity with healthcare software systems is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in contract-based or project-driven development roles is advantageous.
