The Challenge:
We've created a React Native (Expo) mobile app with intentional issues:
• Broken registration flow
• Non-functional profile editing
• Performance problems
• Bugs to find and fix
• Need for reusable code architecture
Your job: Make it production-ready.
What You'll Work With:
• React Native 0.81.4 + Expo SDK 54
• TypeScript
• Redux Toolkit
• React Navigation
• Formik + Yup
• Mock APIs (simulating Firebase/Firestore)
Requirements:
âś… Node.js 20.19.4+
âś… React Native/Expo experience
âś… macOS (iOS Simulator) OR Windows/Linux (Android Emulator)
âś… Ability to work independently and problem-solve
Time Estimate: 10-12 hours (mid-level developers)
How to Participate:
1. Fork the GitHub repository
2. Complete the 5 tasks in CHALLENGE.md
3. Submit a Pull Request with your code
4. Include a 3-4 minute screen recording demonstrating your work
