Job Description

Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. Always collaborating with cross-functional project teams, our developers are adaptable problem-solvers with a client-oriented mindset.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Mobile Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that deliver an exceptional user experience. As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to bring ideas to life.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and release Android/IOS applications with clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs, optimize application performance, and improve reliability.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
• Build strong, trusted partnerships with Endava customers by understanding their needs and delivering high-quality solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android/IOS development trends, tools, and technologies.
• Maintain clear and organized documentation for projects.
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven experience in Mobile development with Kotlin and/or Java and/or Swift .
• Knowledge of the following technologies:
  Swift/SwiftUI for iOS, Kotlin/Compose for Android, JavaScript or Java
• Develop high quality, scalable and performant solutions.
• Work collaboratively with Product Owners, BAs, QAs and other engineers.
• Participate in the technical delivery of the squad, from designing solutions to deploying them and ensuring correct operation.
• Participate in all agile ceremonies.
• Work closely with Tech Leads to design maintainable, robust, secure systems.
• Understanding of mobile app performance and optimization techniques.
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern UI development.
• Experience with RxJava, Coroutines, or Kotlin Flow.
• Proficiency in dependency injection frameworks like Dagger and/or Koin.
• Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Android/IOS apps.
• Experience with app lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of security best practices for Android/IOS (e.g., encryption, secure storage).
