Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Finland
Location: Helsinki (or surrounding area)

Our client is a leading international engineering and construction firm delivering large-scale data centres and advanced manufacturing facilities across Europe, the UK, North America and APAC.
As part of their ongoing European expansion, they are now seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to establish and lead operations in Finland, driving the successful setup and delivery of major data-centre projects.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to lead market entry for a high-performing international contractor in one of Europe’s most dynamic data-centre regions. You’ll shape strategy, build a local team, and ensure projects are delivered to world-class standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the setup of the Finnish operation, including structure, staffing, and delivery systems.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of data-centre design and construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with Finnish regulations and uphold the company’s global quality and safety standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and local authorities.
- Drive operational excellence, profitability, and long-term growth.
About You
- Senior leadership experience within main contracting or data-centre construction.
- Proven track record managing large, complex projects.
- Strong commercial and client-facing skills.
- Fluency in Finnish would be a significant advantage.
- Experienced in operating within Nordic or European markets.
