We’re looking for a Growth & Marketing Engineer to join our Data team to take ownership of the data infrastructure that powers our user-acquisition engine.
Our apps reach millions of musicians worldwide through subscriptions, trials, and one-time purchases sold across mobile, web, and third-party channels.
This is a technical and strategic role – ideal for someone who loves solving deep data problems, enjoys bridging engineering and marketing, and wants to have a measurable business impact.
In this role, you will:
- Partner closely with Growth, Data, and Product teams to evolve our measurement strategy, streamline our web portals, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in modern performance marketing.
- Design and maintain the systems that move data between our apps, ad networks, MMPs, and BigQuery warehouse – including attribution, event tracking, cost ingestion, and privacy compliance across iOS (SKAN), Android, and web.
- Keep us ahead of the curve by tracking changes across major ad platforms (Meta, Google, Apple, TikTok, etc.) and helping the team adapt quickly to new APIs, privacy frameworks, and optimization opportunities.
What we absolutely need
- 3+years of experience in technical marketing, growth data engineering, or marketing-ops engineering, ideally in mobile app companies.
- Proven track record in building or maintaining marketing events and data pipelines end-to-end.
- Deep working knowledge of ad-tech ecosystems (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, ASA, etc.) including ad performance & creative analytics, and MMPs (AppsFlyer).
- Experience in web tracking, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and full understanding of the web & mobile campaign tracking.
- Deep understanding of web & app event tracking and marketing data flows – from client-side and server-side tracking to attribution postbacks.
- Working knowledge of data-sharing protocols, SKAdNetwork, Cookies and privacy-preserving measurement.
- Strong command of SQL and Python for data modeling, validation, and API integrations.
- Building dashboards and automated reports for marketing performance and funnel conversion, and visualising data that addresses the needs of different stakeholders, i.e. creative reports, cohorts, GEOs, channels, platform, etc.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills – able to explain complex setups clearly to non-technical peers.
- Ability to work independently across multiple projects and teams in a fast-moving environment.
What is nice to have in addition:
- Building and maintaining LTV prediction models (e.g., 7-day, 30-day, 90-day, 180-day) by channel and cohort.
- Experience with Marketing mix modeling for measuring and understanding the incrementality and broader impact of marketing efforts across multiple channels
- Experience with subscription analytics tools like RevenueCat, App Store Connect, and Google Play Console.
- Experience in event /signal engineering
- Experience with modern web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript frameworks) and the ability to build or modify features in our web portal to support new tracking, attribution, or onboarding experiments.
Our office is in Helsinki, and for team collaboration we expect our people to work two days per week in the office. Our team is easy-going yet super talented and ambitious and we are set to make an impact for the future. Note that playing a musical instrument is a benefit, but not at all mandatory. There is a fair chance to learn, as everybody gets a free Guitar or an Ukulele!
Here is your chance to be part of the modern music industry! To apply, please submit your application and CV on-line ASAP. For further information, please contact Arja Martikainen from Tuesday-Thursday between 1 pm and 3 pm +358407621564.
