Head of Sports Product
The future of gaming in Finland is changing – and we’re recruiting. In 2027, the Finnish license market will open, bringing a new era for iGaming. At Veikkaus, we’re preparing for this transformation - and we’re looking for passionate professionals to join us on this exciting journey.

We are looking for a Head of Sports Product to lead the strategic development, product management and customer experience of Veikkaus’ Sportsbook. This is a permanent, full-time position where you’ll oversee product vision, growth initiatives, and customer engagement for some of the most visible products of Veikkaus’ digital offering.
As part of the Sportsbook leadership team, you’ll play a crucial role in driving product excellence, market competitiveness, and responsible entertainment for our players.
Main Responsibilities Include
Our headquarters are located in Helsinki, Finland but the position can be located in any Veikkaus location.

Main Responsibilities Include
- Leading the Sports Product & Growth organization.
- Owning the sportsbook roadmap and collaboration with external and internal stakeholders across Sports products.
- Driving commercial initiatives to maximize engagement and retention.
- Ensuring a seamless and enjoyable customer experience across all channels.
- Promoting a data-driven and player-centric approach to decision-making and innovation.
- Proven experience in sportsbook product management as a Head of / Director or Senior Product Manager role.
- You have worked in a licensed or competitive market environment.
- A deep understanding of sports betting products, customer behavior, and market dynamics,
- Excellent stakeholder and leadership skills, with the ability to align commercial, trading, tech, and marketing perspectives into one clear product vision.
- A strategic mindset to shape the long-term roadmap — and the hands-on drive to make it happen.
- A genuine passion for sports and for creating products and experiences that customers love to engage with every day.
- Growth in active and retained customers.
- Product and campaign performance (engagement, conversion, ROI).
- Delivery of roadmap initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
- Contribution to Veikkaus’ long-term sportsbook transformation and market leadership.
