The Role

As Chief AI Officer (CAIO), you will lead Supersight’s AI strategy, R&D roadmap, and AI technology vision. You will work closely with our CEO and technical team to advance our edge AI models, resource-optimized computing, and visual understanding systems. Your role is central to ensuring Supersight remains at the forefront of sustainable, device-level AI innovation.

Responsibilities

1. Lead AI research and development across computer vision, model optimization, and edge deployment.
2. Define and execute the company’s AI strategy aligned with business growth goals.
3. Supervise and mentor our team of data scientists, researchers, and software engineers.
4. Collaborate with product and operations teams to optimize AI performance on recycled mobile devices.
5. Engage with partners, investors, and customers to communicate our technological advantage.
6. Oversee AI ethics, data privacy, and sustainable computing principles.

What We’re Looking For

1. Experience in AI, Computer Vision, or Machine Learning, preferred a PhD or equivalent.
2. Proven track record in leading AI research or product teams.
3. Deep understanding of edge AI, resource-efficient model design, or embedded systems.
4. Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX, or similar frameworks.
5. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate R&D into commercial value.
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup.
