Client Details
Our client, in collaboration with its Network Product Department, has initiated a One Network Program aimed at driving digital transformation, enhancing user connectivity expertise, and mitigating cyber risks. The Data Center & Cloud product line within the Network Product Department is tasked with managing Client's Data Center and CLOUD Network infrastructure. This includes routers, switches, load balancers, internet access, data center interconnection backbone, DWDM, and cloud network environments (AWS, Azure, Google, Intercloud). The engineering services associated with Data Center & Cloud Network involve the design, delivery, and support of these products and services, which are integral to the One Network program initiative.
Role Description
The services provided will focus on defining, advertising, and ensuring the delivery of sustainable, robust, and secure solutions. In close collaboration with Group Security, the CTO, and the One Network Program, these services will propose cost-effective solutions that add business value and support corporate and business line strategies.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to and supporting medium- to long-term product evolution and continuous improvement.
- Managing advisory, selection, design, secure build, and integration for the relevant products.
- Facilitating communication and interaction between functional groups, AXA IT Services, strategic partners, and vendors.
- Ensuring quality of service (QoS) delivery and support for solutions.
- Providing high-level expertise in products and services.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in driving large architecture, standardization, and transformation initiatives.
Competences
- Data Center technologies, particularly with Cisco ACI and VMware NSX-T competencies.
- Proven expertise in automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
- Participation in automation synergy for POD solutions.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of network technology and market practices, including competition landscape and technology trends, with a well-established level of expertise.
- Strong expertise in network design patterns, security solutions, and IT infrastructure best practices.
- Expertise in managing Data Center ACI, Switch Fabric, Load balancers, and VMware NSX-T.
- Familiarity with network security products, SASE, VPN (Cisco, F5), Firewalling (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Algosec), Web gateways (McAfee), segmentation technologies, identity services, voice, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, LAN wired, WAN, and MPLS will be advantageous.
- Senior expertise in the network domain within an international and matrix organization.
- Proven expertise in current network and infrastructure challenges and trends, particularly at infrastructure and technical levels.
- Established, productive technical relationships with major IT vendors.
- Ability to gather, combine, and analyze business and technical requirements from key stakeholders, recommending appropriate technological designs and solutions that align with business needs, the company’s technical strategy, and that offer efficient and cost-effective solutions.
