Key Responsibilities

• Develop software using test-driven development in a modern microservices architecture, primarily in Java, within a product or project team
• Customize product components (BLOXX) and design customer-specific services and enhancements in close cooperation with the customer
• Work in a modern cloud/operational infrastructure including Kubernetes, Azure, Docker, GitLab CI & Co.
• Develop REST- and event-based services using technologies such as Swagger/OpenAPI, JAX-RS, and Kafka
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of consultants, software developers, and architects
• Participate in agile development using short iteration cycles, continuous integration, code reviews, and testing at all levels

Requierements

• Completed studies in a STEM field or a comparable education
• Programming experience in Java, ideally including asynchronous contexts
• Knowledge in designing RESTful APIs
• Preferably experience with technologies such as JPA/Hibernate, GIT, Maven, and Junit Familiarity with other helpful frameworks is welcome
