We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the role of HR Manager at Platinum Homecare.
This key individual will be a member of the Senior Leadership team and will manage the full HR Lifecycle; working with our Regional Managers and Central Functions, building a positive and enriched organisational culture, promoting employee growth and development and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Salary: €70K + depending on experience

Qualifications Required
- At least 7 years’ experience in Human Resource Management, managing a HR function, including managing and mentoring a HR team.
- Experience influencing and supporting senior stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office and skilled in HRIS and data analysis techniques.
- At least degree educated, ideally in HR/business related field of study.
- Must be CIPD qualified

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR
In conjunction with the Senior Management Team, develop and implement the HR Strategy for our business, ensuring its alignment with our culture and growth trajectory
Support our leaders and employees with their career journey, building on capability and energy to succeed, subsequently contributing to the overall success of Platinum Homecare
Work closely with Senior Management to foster a positive organisational culture based on professionalism, high standards of service delivery, innovation and care for both internal and external stakeholders
Develop and drive standards of excellence in all aspects of HR practice, as a gatekeeper of robust people management policies and systems.
Act as a trusted advisor; guiding Senior Managers on employee related matters, employment law and performance management practices.
Operational HR; Talent Acquisition
Create and execute Talent Acquisition strategies, promoting the Platinum brand as a great place to work, focusing on pipelines, selection, retention and succession to build future business needs
Develop and implement excellent recruitment and selection policies, procedures, practices and approaches, ensuring all those involved in the process are fully equipped to deliver the very best in Homecare.
Be responsible for the management and proactive review of Platinum Homecare’s HR management system
Ensure compliance and accuracy of all employee contracts, policies and employee handbook, in line with GDPR and employee legislation.
Work alongside the training team and help to enhance a comprehensive employee induction programme.
Operational HR; Talent Development and Retention
Ensure Regional Managers are proactively leading and taking responsible for employee retention and are closely managing, appraising and supporting their teams.
Manage employee relations and provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice and in line with Platinum’s culture and values.
Ensure a positive employee relations culture is championed and maintained, knowing that this is a key part of the Platinum employer brand.
Support the delivery of Talent Management and People Development plans, and Performance Management practices.
Own the DEI policy frameworks, aligning Platinum’s commitment to an inclusive and belonging environment.
Operational HR; Systems and Administration
Partner closely with the National Operational/Development Team to improve efficiencies and best practices.
Manage relationships with any third parties involved in the recruitment process ensuring the preferred supplier list is up to date and delivering the needs of the business and maximising value.
Conduct exit interviews, report on data and work closely with the Senior Management Team to develop retention action plans.
Ensure robust systems are in place for managing and recording employee leave and support Regional Managers in understanding the different types of leave and approval processes.
Deliver other key HR projects/initiatives that support execution of the overall HR and business strategy, for example in areas such as employee well-being, learning, development and health and safety.
Reporting and KPI’s
Weekly and monthly status report for all regions against agreed targets and KPI’s, with the report automated in real time.
Monthly meetings with the Operational teams, presenting:
Recruitment, probation, attrition and retention updates for each region.
Targeted initiatives for recruitment and retention
HR Lifecycle updates, including employee performance reviews and engagement.
