OT Cyber Security Engineer | Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
About the Role
Join a leading global biopharma company as an OT Cyber Security Engineer to support Critical Infrastructure Management (CIM) operations. Ensure secure and reliable delivery of manufacturing applications to shopfloor users while maintaining compliance with IT/OT and cyber security standards in a GMP-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and upgrade OT Shopfloor Endpoint & Cyber Security systems.
- Manage incident resolution, change, and problem management for OT systems.
- Maintain asset inventories in CMDB and support site-specific & global projects.
- Act as local subject matter expert, collaborating with global DD&T teams.
- Mentor technical staff and communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years in IT/OT service delivery in manufacturing or laboratory environments.
- Strong knowledge of OT production networks, Industrial Control Systems, shopfloor endpoints, and IT Service Management frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with IT/OT networking and Cloud computing (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration (manufacturing focus), or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent English communication skills, structured problem-solving, and ability to manage complex systems.
Desirable Skills & Certifications
- Project management experience in regional/global environments.
- Certifications: ITIL, COBIT, ISO/IEC 20000, PMP, Prince2.
- Familiarity with GMP environments, OT cyber security best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
