Back End Developer

They’re looking for a Backend Developer (PHP/Symfony) who combines strong technical skills with a product mindset — someone who enjoys creating robust, scalable, and maintainable systems that actually perform. 🔍 Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP 8.2+ and Symfony 7.1+.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Architect, query, and fine-tune relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB) for maximum efficiency.

• Build and manage integrations with internal and external APIs, queues, and caching layers (Redis).

• Write clean, well-tested code, including unit and functional tests.

• Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

• Collaborate with frontend developers to define and implement effective APIs.

• Continuously improve workflow efficiency through automation, documentation, and best practices.

🎓 Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience with PHP and Symfony (or other modern frameworks).

• Strong proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB), including query optimization.

• Hands-on experience with caching and queue management using Redis.

• Proven experience with Doctrine ORM.

• Solid understanding of OOP principles, SOLID, DRY, and KISS.

• Experience working with Docker and core AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3).

• Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.

• (Experience with TypeScript and familiarity with React or Next.js is considered a bonus)
