About the role:
We are looking for a Software Engineer with a preference for backend development. You should be proactive, product-minded and enthusiastic about crafting the impactful software product for our customers. As a Software Engineer in the Forms experience team you will work with highly performing individuals to build a product which helps ecommerce businesses boost their contacts list.
The Forms team is responsible for:

About the role:
We are looking for a Software Engineer with a preference for backend development. As a Software Engineer in the Forms experience team you will work with highly performing individuals to build a product which helps ecommerce businesses boost their contacts list.
The Forms team is responsible for:
- Forms builder - a complex application developed to allow customers to create and edit versatile forms effortlessly
- AI-powered form creation - enabling customers to build forms automatically using AI assistants developed and maintained by the team
- Engine which makes forms alive 24/7 on ecommerce sites
- A system for collecting and reporting forms statistics
- Contribute significantly to product development decisions
- Design, develop, and test features
- Resolve technical challenges for seamless system functionality and optimal performance
- Maintain features with effective monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Share best practices with team members
- Hands-on experience (3+ years) implementing and maintaining scalable, highly available systems
- Customer centricity - putting the customer at the core of all business decisions and actions
- Ideally, experience with Golang or alternatively proficiency in any backend programming language with the willingness to learn Golang
- Experience with React or any equivalent framework with willingness to learn React
- Familiarity with modern software build pipelines and tools
- Proficiency in NoSQL and SQL database, with willingness to learn MongoDB, BigQuery, PostgreSQL
- Experience with real-time distributed messaging tools, like NSQ, Pub/Sub
- Working experience with any cloud provider (at Omnisend we use Google Cloud Services)
- Experience with event-based architecture
