The Customer Capabilities Tribe is :100 people working across Denmark, Poland, India, and our newly established branch in Lithuania. We’re organised into 10 cross-functional teams delivering end-to-end solutions for critical domains like Fees, Interest, Tax Reporting, and Customer Communication. This role sits in Customer Communication Management within the Lithuanian branch.
We deliver essential banking products and customer experiences for Danske Bank, operating at scale and high transaction volumes. Our architecture is microservices-based, and we rely on platforms and components such as Flowable, SmartComms, and Apryse to ship seamless solutions.
Our tech stack includes .NET for core services, Kubernetes and OpenShift for orchestration, Azure DevOps for CI/CD (with plans to move to GitHub Actions), and a focused migration of services from OpenShift to AWS.
We’re a group of skilled, dedicated engineers in Lithuania, Denmark, Poland and India focused on building sustainable, scalable software. We value clean design, measurable performance, and putting customers at the centre of every decision.
The workplace is in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).
This role does not include a relocation allowance.

You will:
- Develop systems critical to everyday banking products and customer experiences
- Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, high-quality software solutions
- Implement robust development and security practices for cloud-native applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business analysts, and UX designers, to deliver seamless solutions
- Engage in digital transformation initiatives, contributing to highly challenging and impactful projects
- Contribute to an agile, supportive culture that cultivates teamwork and respect for diversity
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields (AWS or similar certifications would be beneficial)
- Experience in .NET as well as practical expertise in SQL, MQ, microservices, and container-based development (OpenShift/Kubernetes/EKS)
- Front-end development experience with technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React or similar would be beneficial
- Familiarity with DevSecOps responsibilities, including full pipeline ownership, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Familiarity with customer-first principles and customer journey products (would be beneficial)
- A proactive mindset driven by ownership, continuous improvement, curiosity, and the ability to explore and investigate with a detective-like approach
- Proficient collaboration skills and advanced English proficiency
Monthly salary range from 4480 EUR to 6720 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
