Your Mission

We’re on the lookout for a Backend Engineer to build and maintain the systems that power our games. From APIs to data flow, you’ll make sure everything runs seamlessly and scales as we grow.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java (17+) and Spring Boot
• Contribute to the development of our bespoke game backend framework
• Maintain and optimize databases and server performance
• Collaborate with frontend and QE peers to ensure stable delivery
• Automate deployment and monitoring processes
• Continuously improve code quality, engineering practices, and overall system design

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in backend development (Java, Spring Boot or Quarkus)
• Experience in utilizing and building AI Tools
• Experience in TDD, BDD, and pair-programming
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker)
• Experience in real-time systems or game servers is a plus
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Fluent business English proficiency
• Work experience within iGaming industry is a plus

The salary range for this position is €4,000 – €5,500 gross/month.

Our Interview process is simple and straightforward - a quick HR Sync, followed by up to 2 technical interviews and an optional assignment (only if needed and if mutually agreed).
