About the Role

We are partnering with a leading consultancy specialising in mission-critical projects to recruit a skilled Project Lead for a major hyperscale data centre development in the Netherlands.

As Project Lead, you’ll represent the consultancy in managing project delivery from design through to commissioning, ensuring alignment between the client, contractors, and all stakeholders. This is a key leadership position offering long-term prospects and exposure to one of Europe’s most significant data centre builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the client’s representative, overseeing design, construction, and commissioning phases
• Manage stakeholder communication between the end client, design teams, and contractors
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and risk management on behalf of the consultancy
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks
• Lead progress meetings and provide accurate reporting to senior leadership and the client
• Drive best practice in project management, ensuring delivery excellence throughout all phases

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in project management or leadership roles within data centre, industrial, or mission-critical sectors
• Previous experience working in a consultancy environment (client-side or project management consultancy)
• Strong technical understanding of MEP and CSA disciplines
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills
• Familiarity with Dutch construction practices and regulations is advantageous
• EU work eligibility and willingness to be based in the Netherlands
• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
