We are now looking for a PHP Developer to join our team in Porto, Portugal.

*For this position, you have to be already in Porto, Portugal, and have legal documentation to work in Portugal.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and modernize an existing Symfony application for the BPCE-SI entity.
• Develop robust, secure, and scalable features following best practices.
• Configure and optimize Symfony installations for high performance.
• Design and build custom plugins and bundles to meet specific business needs, leveraging existing open-source solutions when appropriate.
• Collaborate within your squad and the wider PHP Factory to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD.

• Must-Have:
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on the Symfony framework.
• Proven experience in configuring and customizing Symfony environments.
• Solid understanding and practical experience in building and integrating plugins/bundles.
• Strong commitment to security principles and software development best practices (SOLID, DRY, clean code).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Professional proficiency in English (B2 minimum).

• Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with WordPress development.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience working in the financial sector or other regulated environments.
